Welcome to the Los Miradores Owners' Week.

As in previous years, there will be two subsidised places per property and, once again, we will be asking for a small contribution to some of the events to offset the overall costs of the week. Should you wish to include guests (space permitting) then there will be a charge for them. The charges are shown on the on-line booking form and once you have completed the form you will see the total payment required.

TRIP TO EXPERIENCE 43 AND LUNCH – Monday 22^nd September

Departing from Caixa Bank by coach at 9:30, we will drive to the factory just outside Cartagena. The Experience will start by enjoying the unique taste of Licor 43 followed by a fascinating tour of the home of this unique liqueur.

You will get to know one of Spain’s world-famous drinks produced only at this factory. Along the way, you will discover many of the secrets of the refreshing concoction of natural flavours, aromas and colours – but the secret recipe itself is kept in the hands of just three people.

During the 1 hour 45 minute tour, you will walk through the museum that tells the story of Licor 43 before visiting the working factory.

Then the good bit – a fun cocktail show with tastings of the different varieties of Licor 43 before visiting the shop where you can buy your favourite variety.

There is plenty of seating during the tour for those who may wish to sit for a while and there are elevators and ramps where needed.

A short coach ride will then take us on to Venta El Sabinar on the RM12 where you will enjoy a three-course lunch in their private room before returning to La Manga Club at approximately 15:00.

ADVENTURE GOLF – Tuesday 23^rd September

Arrive at the Adventure Golf Centre at 10:30 where you will be offered a glass of bucks fizz or cup of coffee. Ian Miller (our host and Master of Ceremonies) will then explain the rules of the competition so it is important that you are there on time.

The first group will putt off at 11:00 and the start sheet will be available so you can see who you are playing with and what will be your approximate tee time.

On completing your round (which should take about an hour at the most), hand your scorecard to Ian. There is no need to add up your score – Ian will do that for you.

Putting will be followed by lunch and you will need to make your meal choice when you put your name down to play. The menu can be seen on the entry page.

The bar will be open during your game and Ian will be very pleased to serve you drinks (for which, please note, you will have to pay).

The last players should be back in by about 1:00 and, after lunch, Ian will chair the medal ceremony(!) and announce the winners. There will be 3 prizes - for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. In the event of a tie, a putt-off will take place on the first hole and play will continue until a winner can be declared!

Please note that you don't need to bring your own putter or golf ball. These will be provided.

GOLF COMPETITION - Thursday 25^th September

The competition will be an individual NON-QUALIFYING stableford competition on the North Course played off full handicap with 100% slope.

There will be prizes for both men and ladies and, in accordance with normal practice in Spain, ties will be decided on your playing handicap. In the event that there is a tie on handicap, the player with the better score over the last 9, 6 or 3 holes will win.

The start sheet will be published on-line a few days before the event and e-mailed to all competitors. We will not be using Golf Directo so all players should keep their score on a paper scorecard which must be signed and taken to Golf Admin after completion of the round.

Those of you starting on tee 10 must remember that your times on tee 1 are booked and are exactly 2hrs 15 mins after your start time. Please make sure you are on tee 1 at the correct time.

Golfers who pay a green fee must register with Golf Admin before playing and pay the appropriate fee. Golf Admin will have the names of those to whom this applies.
