Location:
Until recently we were
located at the Tennis Centre in La Manga Club but following the closure of the
bowls facility within La Manga Club in November 2021 we are now actively
looking for an alternative site. Our new facility is likely to be situated away
from La Manga Club and will be an all weather outdoor carpet facility. We
hope to have some news in this regard in early 2022.
Membership:
At the end of 2021 we had around 70 members, both resident in the Club and the surrounding area. We have members of all abilities from beginners to experienced bowlers and a wide range of ages.
In the past we have helped beginners by providing equipment and free coaching. Experienced bowlers will also find us a friendly and active club. New members are always welcome and once we have established a new facility we will be delighted to welcome new members to our Club.
In the meantime we continue to participate in the Levante Lawn Bowls Southern Division between the months of October through to March. Our home games are currently being hosted by the Country Bowls Club near La Torre and we are also holding practice sessions and roll-ups at their facility.
